High Protein Vegan Breakfast Ideas!

What you’ll need:

#1 Turmeric & Cinnamon Smoothie

2-3 frozen bananas
1 cup mango, frozen (100g)
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tsp turmeric, ground
¼ tsp cinnamon
a pinch of black pepper
1 ¼ cups non dairy milk (310ml)
¼ cup water (60ml) , or more for a thinner consistency
2 dates

→ serves 1

#2 Spinach Pesto Breakfast Bagels


½ cup cashews, roasted (80g)
1 handful basil, fresh
2 handfuls of fresh spinach
juice of ½ lemon
2 ½ Tbsp nutritional yeast
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup almond milk, unsweetened (60ml), or more for a thinner consistency

for the bagels:
avocado, hummus, greens …

→ serves 4

#3 Peanut Butter Quinoa Porridge

½ cup quinoa flakes (70g)
⅓ cup quick oats (30g)
1 tsp flax seeds
1 ½ cups vanilla – non dairy milk (375ml)
1 heaping tsp peanut butter + a bit more for the top
berries for the top
sweetener of choice, to taste

→ serves 1-2

#4 Hemp & Oat Nicecream w Cherry Sauce

for the sauce:

½ cup cherries, frozen (75g)
½ tsp vanilla
1 tsp cornstarch
½ cup water (125ml)

3 bananas, frozen
1 tsp hemp powder
2 tbsp oats
a splash of almond milk
a handful of hazelnuts, chopped and toasted

→ serves 1
